The Heritage Gardeners Garden Club works toward the betterment of the Friendswood community and to promote gardening education and interests.

Objectives

• Promote gardening education.

• Support and maintain the Marie Workman Garden Center and Briscoe Gardens.

• Support the Friendswood community & Historical Society by the following:

Providing three scholarships to local high school or college students studying
environmental science

Supporting Friendswood families in need

Participating in community projects and activities

Assisting Friendswood ISD teachers and students in environmental and horticultural projects.

Sponsoring the Heritage Junior Master Gardeners

Co-Sponsoring the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree at Frank J Brown Museum.

Maintaining flowerbed in Friendswood’s Stevenson’s Park

Providing educational programs at public meetings.

Sponsoring the Christmas Tour of Homes and Bake Sale.

Sponsoring the Spring Garden Tour and Market and Plant Sale.
